Wings of Light and Love
A little over 3 years ago, our beautiful, gentle, and loving 10 year old rescued greyhound was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, a bone cancer that necessitated amputation. As one can imagine, we were devastated. The prognosis was bleak even with follow up chemo treatments. Several weeks after the surgery, I was walking my doe eyed 3 legged dog when Yvonne, who happened to be taking a walk with a friend who lived in my community, approached us. She told me that she was a nurse and a Reiki Master Practitioner. Although I was not well versed in Reiki, I was really intrigued by the notion of holistic, hands on healing approach. Three years later, another bout with cancer, and several surgeries due to complications, Maggie is still with us. I attribute much of Maggie's success story to Yvonne's gentle and loving nature and her spirituality. Every week, Yvonne walks through the front door and Maggie "assumes the position", knowing the connective energy that will soon flow through her body. Our vet, who works with a greyhound organization and has a greyhound of his own, says that in all of his years of practice, he has never seen an animal with this disease live so long and fight the way she has to stay alive. There is no doubt in our minds that Yvonne has been an inherent part of this outcome, and for this we will always be grateful.

I just wanted to thank you for your kind and gentle attention to my horse, Sierra, last weekend. Your touch gave her comfort. It was quite obvious. Please keep her in your thoughts. Bless her with your gift of healing. She is very precious to me. She carries my spirit and keeps it intact when all else seems unbalanced.

With deep appreciation, Debbie Evans

The Reiki experience that stands out the most for me is when you and I were on the phone and Cara was misbehaving so bad that I couldn't even talk to you. I was about to hang up to correct her and you said you would send her some Reiki. I turned around and she was out cold on the floor. I called you back and said: what did you do to my dog???

A TRIBUTE TO YVONNE
FROM NANOKI
As part of my manifesting centuries ago, I must have asked to be guided to a maven such as you. In the spirit of giving and forgiving lie the answers we both are searching for. Although the light will never go dim, the onus to create an army lies deep within your soul. An army of light workers beaming and igniting the heavens high above.
This light to be reflected in the hollows of those hearts that neglect to feel. To feel on a level so deep within the heart that not only can those present release the turmoil, but can also embrace the compassion. You are the chosen few for this task. Stay focused on your mission. Your mission is not short lived. It is a mission of deep emotions spilling out of you to embrace the light of others.
